Service Agreements

If you are the type of person that is doesn’t want your power bill to be any higher than it has to be…or if you are the type of person that wants to protect your investment in heating and air conditioning systems (hopefully that includes most of us) you should continue reading.  If you are the type of person that rarely replaces AC filters…you should continue reading.  However, if you are the type of person that has the proper tools to check the vital signs of your heating and air conditioning system(s) and are willing to go to the local HVAC supply store and purchase the chemicals to treat your coils (and do it regularly) then there is no reason to continue reading.  But I suspect that the previous sentence only applies to a small percentage of the public.

The main services that are provided with our Service Agreements include

  1.  Refrigerant Check – requires refrigeration gauges and technical knowledge to check the pressures of the refrigerant to ensure that the system contains the proper amount of refrigerant.
  2. Amperage Verification – requires an electrical gauges and technical knowledge to ensure that the energy consumption levels of your system are within manufacturer’s specifications.
  3. Visual inspection of the indoor coil (for example, the removal of panels in the component of your AC system that is located in the attic).  The indoor coil must be kept as clean as possible to ensure that your system runs as efficiently as possible.  Cleaning this component (if required) requires special chemicals and the expertise of removing the “crud” without damaging the refrigerant circuits.
  4. Inspection of the duct system for leaks.
  5. Visual inspection and cleaning of the coil on the outdoor component of your AC system.

Don’t be mis-lead by evaluating maintenance agreement offers by the NUMBER of points on an agreement.  Judge the value of this service by the amount of time required to complete the service, especially the length of time spent in your attic cleaning the indoor coil.  And if pictures are provided and appropriately explained to verify findings… that is a good sign the service was properly performed.

We provide bi-annual check-ups for our service agreement customers.  They also receive a significant discount on repairs, should repairs be required.  We do not charge overtime rates to our service agreement customers, regardless of when yours might need a repair…And we provide 24-hour service.

We provide peace of mind to our service agreement customers so that their air conditioning systems are 1 less thing to worry about…

Your heating and cooling system is not only a major investment but is also the heart-beat of your home.  If your heating and cooling system is not regularly maintained, you may be subjected to significantly shorter life cycles of your system(s), un-necessary discomfort, and more of your hard-earned dollars going toward energy costs than is necessary. See how you would be protected by participating in our energy savings agreement.
